Details of important achievements, during the period under review, are given below.
1- Budget Allotment for Examination Building- Commission faces difficulties to conduct various examinations due to non existence of its own examination building. An amount Rs. 1768.13 lakhs has now been sanctioned by the Government for construction of examination building for the Commission.
Construction Work of Examination Centre Building is in process. The center will cater the need of 2100 candidates at a same time.
2- Increasing Honorarium of Examiners- Honorarium of examiners has been increased by GO No.1241/ XXX(2)/2011 dated 21 October, 2011.
3- Online Application Form- The process of Online Application form has initiated started at UKPSC for various examinations. Candidates after going through the advertisement and instructions present at the official website http://ukpsc.gov.in of UKPSC can further click on the link of respective advertisement for online application form. For applying online the applicant must register on the Ayog’s application website. To register on the UKPSC application website the user must fill the required details. Once the candidate fills and submit the application successfully, he can take the printout of filled application form for further correspondence with UKPSC. The candidate has to take the printout of bank chalan for fee payment. The chalan has two copies one is for bank and other one as candidate copy. The candidate has to deposit the fee at the nearest SBI mentioned in the chalan. The printed application form with the bank chalan has to be sent at UKPSC address via post or in person. For more user friendly handling of the application, the department is working on its process.
4- Answer Key on the Website – The answer key of optional papers of all the examinations conducted by the Commission are posted on the Commission’s website www.gov.ua.nic.in/ukpsc. Objections are invited from the candidates within a stipulated time frame. Examination results are prepared after reasonable settlement of objections received.
5- Procedure and Conduct of Business Rule-2012 (First amendment- 2013) -The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (Procedure and Conduct of Business) Rule-2013 prepared by Commission for working process with more accuracy.
6- Exam Result Making Rule-2012- This rule is published by Commission for preparing various examination results with more ease and accuracy.
